Vom 15. bis 16. September findet im türkischen Antalya die Euro mGov Konferenz statt. Prominente Vertreter aus dem Öffentlichen Sektor in Europa werden zum Erfahrungsaustausch erwartet. Im Zentrum dieser Konferenz steht das sogenannte mGovernment – das “mobile Government”:
Mobile Government involves revolutionary approaches to the modernization of public sector via utilization of networked mobile technologies in the local or central government organizations. It aims to enhance the businesses of the public sector by bringing new opportunities for providing services to the citizens and improving business processes in public organizations. mGovernment is now a recognized field of practice and research, and constitutes the next evolutionary step of the progresses in eGovernment.
Im Rahmen der Konferenz sollen die Integration neuer Dienstleistungen und Anwendungen im Bereich mGovernment diskutiert, Erfahrungen mit diesen Serviceleistungen ausgetauscht und die Zukunft dieser neuen Anwebdungen erörtert werden.
